Glamping FAQs
What are the check-in/check-out times?
Check-in is from 4pm to 7pm and check-out by 10.30am. If you require an earlier check-in or a later check-out please let us know and we will try to accomodate your request.
Do you take group bookings?
Yes, unlike many yurt campsites we don’t turn away hen parties or mixed groups, however it’s important we make it clear that we are primarily a family glamping site and only able to accommodate groups who want to enjoy our quiet rural location. We have a low noise policy after 10pm quiet music and talking and do not allow amplified music. The site may also be booked exclusively for groups, subject to availability.
Is there disability access?
We offer designated disabled parking and our Lakeside Yurt Retreat is accessed by a gently sloping path which has been specifically designed to accommodate wheel-chair users. A disabled toilet and hand basin are available in one of our washrooms located by the car park. If you require assistance accessing Lakeside Yurt Retreat, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help.
Do I need to bring bedding and towels?
All bedding is provided in our Vintage and Oak yurts and is included in the price. Please bring your own towels.
For guests staying in our Lakeside Yurt Retreat, Bramble and Moroccan yurts you need to either bring your own bedding (we recommend either a sheet, pillows and duvet or pillows and sleeping bag) or we offer the option of hiring bedding at a small additional charge of £20 (Super King/Double Duvet set, sheet and pillows) and £8 (sleeping bags, silk inner and pillow) per stay.
What are the cooking facilities?
All yurts their own designated, fully equipped kitchen with gas mini oven and Bramble Kitchen has a microwave with grill and oven too. Washing-up facilities are located within the kitchen areas. Tea towels, surface cleaner, dishcloths and washing up liquid are provided.
Can I cook inside the Yurt?
We request that guests cook outside on the BBQ or in the kitchen areas provided.
Is there a fridge freezer to store our food?
Each kitchen has a large fridge freezer. Bramble and Lakeside yurts have an additional small fridge too.
What are the washroom facilities?
Two washrooms are located approximately 40 metres from our Lakeside Yurt Retreat, equipped with toilets and hand-wash basins, instant hot showers, mirrors, wall hair-dryer, heated towel rails and a shaving point. Hand-wash, hand towels and toilet rolls are provided.
For guests staying in our Moroccan & Vintage yurts, each yurt has it’s own designated washroom with instant hot shower, hand basin, towel rail and flushing toilet. There is also a separate communal toilet block with mirror and wash basin with hot water.
Our Bramble guests have their own washroom equipped with instant hot shower, hand basin, flushing loo, mirror and heated towel rail which is located adjacent to the yurt.
A baby bath and high chair are also available on request.
What do I need to bring?
To get the most from your glamping experience, we suggest you bring: Towels, bedding for guests staying at our Willow, Bramble and Moroccan yurts (unless hired), torch, umbrella, wellies or walking boots, waterproofs and warm clothing for cold/wet weather, slippers or warm socks, hot water bottle and blankets if the forecast is cold, camera, food and drink, insect repellent, hay fever tablets, sun cream, directions and our contact details.
Can you lock the Yurt?
Yes. Each yurt is equipped with a security lock and you will be provided with your own access code upon arrival.
Where can I park?
Ample free car parking is available a short walk away from your yurt site. We do not allow cars on the grass unless with prior approval.Your luggage will be transported to your yurt by wheelbarrow upon arrival.
Is there a campfire?
We do not provide a campfire for safety reasons, but each yurt is equipped with a wood-buring stove and fire bowl, so you can enjoy the outdoors whilst watching the sunset or doing a spot of star-gazing.
Do you accept pets?
Yes, dogs (and other small pets) are welcome with prior consent on our site.
Can we wander anywhere we wish on the Farm?
You are free to wander around the grounds and children are welcome to enjoy the petting area, however we ask that you ensure farm gates are securely closed as there is livestock in some fields. Parents and guardians are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times on site. Love2Yurt will accept no responsibility for any personal injury sustained on our premises.
Where is the nearest pub/shop?
Our local village pub ‘The Fox’ is located on Baker Street in the centre of our village, less than a five minute walk away and offers delicious lunches and dinners in a friendly village pub atmosphere. Opening hours and menus can be found on their
Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsburys and Brackley Butcher are located in Brackley, a three mile drive away. Local markets are held in Brackley (Friday), and Banbury (Thursday & Saturday). A fabulous farmer’s market is held on the fourth Saturday of each month in Deddington.
Is there Wi-Fi connection?
Limes Farm tea shop provides free Wi-Fi to paying customers, so you can enjoy a cuppa and cake whilst catching up on emails & surfing the net! There is 4G Network coverage on-site.
