Groups & Parties
You can hire our individual yurts or our entire site, depending on your needs. Our Lakeside Yurt Retreat accommodates up to 30 guests for a day/evening event. If you’re looking for a space to hold Team Building Events or a Social Gathering, the Lower site is a perfect choice with our 2 yurts situated in 2/3rds acre of maintained & secure grounds & plenty of space for up to 120 guests. Each yurt has its own fully equipped kitchen and well appointed washroom with instant hot showers & flushing toilets and a fully enclosed Dining Cabin with seating, wood burning stove, kindling, coal & logs, lighting and BBQ. You can choose to bring your own food & drink making use of the kitchens & BBQs provided or opt to use local suppliers to provide all your catering needs. Rates will be based on either a half day (5 hours), full day (8 hours), or multiple day usage depending on your requirements. Half and Full day hire can be with or without overnight accommodation. Half Day Hire is available from Sunday 12.30pm onwards or Monday to Thursday with flexibility on timings. Day Hire is available Monday to Thursday inclusive. Hen Parties
Our yurts are the perfect setting for hen dos; hire Lakeside retreat for a group of 10 or hire the lower site for a larger gathering with outdoor space for games and activities and additional camping space. Enjoy an afternoon tea at the onsite tearoom, have a flower crown making session or a wine tasting evening. Equally you can provide your own refreshments and entertainment and just celebrate together. All options give you access to your own kitchen and dining areas and well appointed washrooms with hot showers and flushing toilets.
Business Events
Yurts are a great way to make your business event stand out from the crowd. Our unique spaces are warm, friendly and inviting and the natural environment lends itself to ‘out of the box’ thinking. Our yurts are wonderfully versatile and the space can be adapted according to your individual needs and the size of your group, just let us know requirements and we’ll be happy to help. Our extensive grounds are perfect for Team Building Events and you can even make use of the lower lake for raft-building exercises! Whether you’re planning a Training Workshop, Business Meeting, Team build, or Away-day, we can provide all the essentials: coffee & tea making facilities, fridge-freezers, fully equipped kitchens, charcoal BBQs, well appointed washrooms with instant hot showers and flushing toilets. Our yurts can be booked on a half, full or multiple day hire basis. You can provide your own drinks & food or arrange catering from one of our recommended suppliers or on-site Tearoom. Our local village pub The Fox offers delicious lunches & dinners.If you want to hire the venue with accommodation our yurts can sleep up to 31 guests with additional camping an option.
Weddings
If you’re looking for a more relaxed & informal venue to hold your forthcoming Wedding reception, then please get in touch.We offer exclusive hire of our full site or Lower Site for 1 day Mid-Week (Monday to Thursday inclusive) or weekend hire Thursday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday. Hire includes the following:
Use of all 5 individually themed yurts which provide accommodation for up to 31 guests
Camping space for additional guests on the lower site
Use of 4 fully equipped kitchens inclusive of fridges & freezers
